From Star-telegram.com: A former Keller woman accused of killing her husband bonded out of a jail this morning, a week after she was arrested on a charge of murder. Michele Williams, 42, of Flower Mound posted bail on the $85,000 amount which had been reduced on Friday. She initially had her bail set at $522,000. Read more@

From Lewisville Leader: The Flower Mound and Lewisville police departments arrested two suspects Saturday night after a robbery in each of their cities. Capt. Kurt Labhart of the Flower Mound Police Department said the two suspects are both from Lewisville. The incident began before 8 p.m. in Lewisville where the suspects robbed a convenience store on Old Orchard Lane and Corporate Drive. Later, the G&S convenience store located at Garden Ridge Road and FM 3040 in Flower Mound was robbed. Read more@

 

From Town of Flower Mound: A water service interruption scheduled to impact a portion of Flower Mound on Tuesday, Jan. 10 has been postponed to Tuesday, January 17 due to inclement weather conditions.

The water service interruption, rescheduled to occur from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 17, will only affect Flower Mound water customers located west of High Road. Residents who live east of High Road, live on High Road, or access homes from High Road, and those who obtain water solely from an external source not connected to the Town of Flower Mound will not be affected. Williams, 42, of Flower Mound, was in jail in Keller facing a $500,000 bond on a murder warrant and also faces charges of tampering with evidence and making a false report to a peace officer, a news release said. From Flower Mound Leader: A local attorney was among two people found dead in an Irving canal Wednesday evening. Ronald Cary Eddins, 41, of Flower Mound and 21-year-old Kaat Paula Debeuckelaer of Colleyville were found in a car that was submerged in a canal near Northwest Highway. Read more@

Lanes at the intersection of FM 2499 and Gerault Road will close on Jan. 12 and Jan 14 to pour concrete paving for the bridge associated with the Morriss/Gerault Corridor Improvement Project, Town officials announced.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Jan. 12, traffic on FM 2499 will be limited to one lane in each direction near the Gerault Road intersection. The traffic signal at the intersection of FM 2499 and Gerault Road will be flashing red in all directions until construction is complete. Beginning at 7 a.m. on Jan. 14, traffic on FM 2499 will again be limited to one lane in each direction near the Gerault Road intersection, and Gerault Road will be closed between Lakeside Parkway and FM 2499.
