Flower Mound will hold its traditional July 4th celebration with a morning children’s parade and evening fireworks at Flower Mound High School. Here is the schedule of events:
Children’s Parade — 11 a.m. Saturday
Timber Creek Elementary
1900 Timber Creek Road (Google map)
Line up begins at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek Road. Decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, and strollers will parade a short route to the LISD School Administration Building, where free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment await.
Fireworks — 7 p.m. Saturday
Flower Mound High School

Fireworks begin at dusk. Gates will open at 7 p.m. The fireworks show and parking at Flower Mound High School are free. Music will be provided by the Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra. No glass, alcohol, or tobacco products may be brought to the high school. Concessions and children’s activities will be available. The rainout date for this event is Sunday, July 5.
